Buenos Aires is so much greener and more alive tha Buenos Aires is so much greener and more alive than most people expect from a 15 million mega city. Between parks, wetlands and the Río de la Plata, the streets are full of colorful birds – from woodpeckers hunting ants in the lawns to hummingbirds and parakeets in the trees. On a simple walk you suddenly feel like you’re on a mini birding trip: calls from every direction, flashes of yellow, red and emerald green between the leaves. This city doesn’t just offer tango and steak – it’s a paradise for anyone who loves nature and wants to discover the wild side of Buenos Aires.👉 Save this post for your future Argentina adventure and tell me in the comments: which of these birds would you love to spot in the wild? 👇Fotos: CanonR7

Take walks. For centuries, thinkers have walked ma Take walks. For centuries, thinkers have walked many miles a day—because they had to, because they were bored, because they wanted to escape the putrid cities they lived in, because they wanted to get their blood flowing. In the process, they discovered an important side-effect: it cleared their minds and made them better thinkers. Tesla discovered the rotating magnetic field—one of the most important scientific discoveries in modern history—on a walk through a Budapest park in 1882. Hemingway took long walks along the quais in Paris whenever he was stuck and needed to think. Nietzsche—who conceived of Thus Spoke Zarathustra on a long walk—said: “It is only ideas gained from walking that have any worth.” I have never taken a walk without thinking, after, “I am so glad I did that.”

Unser letzter Abend in Buenos Aires im legendären The New Brighton (seit 1908!) war pure Magie. 🏛️🎶
Ton an!

Patagonia isn’t only about glaciers and peaks – it Patagonia isn’t only about glaciers and peaks – it’s full of small, feathered personalities hidden in the Valdivian rainforest. 🌿The Chucao is the character bird of these forests. Its loud, distinctive call follows every hiker along the Paso de las Nubes and instantly brings back memories of this unique place. 🦜Step into my world of Patagonian birds: from shy forest dwellers and curious trailside visitors to true masters of camouflage hidden among moss, bamboo, and ancient Alerce trees. 🏔️Swipe through to meet the voices of the rainforest – and imagine their calls echoing through the mountain mist. ☁️👉 Save this post for your future Patagonia adventure and tell me in the comments: which of these little characters would you love to spot in the wild? 👇‐----------

Day 2 on the Paso de las Nubes: From Refugio Agost Day 2 on the Paso de las Nubes: From Refugio Agostino Rocca, we descended almost 700 meters through the dense Valdivian rainforest – past giant thousand-year-old Fitzroya trees, the oldest and tallest conifers in South America, as well as majestic Coihue trees, Chilean podocarp, and colihue bamboo.
The trail led us steeply down to the emerald-green Lago Frías, where the boat was waiting to take us back to Puerto Pañuelo near Bariloche via the hidden Andean valley and Nahuel Huapi – a perfect combination of wild trekking and relaxed sailing.
Day 1 on the Paso de las Nubes: From Pampa Linda, Day 1 on the Paso de las Nubes: From Pampa Linda, we hiked leisurely along the Río Alerce through the beech forest – with the Tronador volcano slowly approaching behind us. The trail became steeper with every step, and the famous "Caracol" zigzag took us up the last few meters to the Refugio Agostino Rocca, spectacularly situated above the valley of the Alerce and Frías rivers and very close to the Tronador glacier. Now we sit in the evening light above the clouds, tired legs, happy faces – a perfect start to this 2-day tour.
Today we discovered Bariloche from the saddle: a f Today we discovered Bariloche from the saddle: a full bike loop through Circuito Chico – pure Patagonian bliss with alpine lakes, Andean peaks and Swiss vibes.
The 27 km route winds past Lago Nahuel Huapi, Playa Bonita beach, the legendary Cerro Campanario viewpoint (voted one of the world's best by National Geographic), Colonia Suiza village and Cervecería Patagonia brewery.
Moderate climbs, stunning descents and endless photo ops – perfect for our group to soak in Bariloche's postcard scenery on two wheels.Ready for your own Circuito Chico adventure? Join us in 2027! 👉
