Hey, there my name is Frank, founder of francontrip. I’m of German origin but fell in love with Ecuador some 20 years ago, the country of the marvelous Galapagos Islands. I am a specialist in nature, trekking and expedition tours, and meanwhile, have extensive knowledge of South America. As a book lover (or “by my many interests”) I almost always find an answer to the many questions of my clients about flora & fauna, politics, culture, and history. I am speaking the local Indian language Quichua and therefore contact with the local indigenous population develops quickly. Many experiences, impressions, and small adventures on the trips, contribute to the fact that my customers learn to love and appreciate the country and its people as much as I am. So walk with me in the footsteps of the four great explorers, discoverers, and mountaineers Humboldt, Darwin, Condamine and Whymper.
